There are many pieces of software used for various majors at Montana Technological University that students can access for free as long as they are a current student.

Software for Your Major
Software available to purchase and download can be found at the link below.
Products by Major
Click "Sign In" on the top right corner of the page. You may automatically be signed in with your Montana Tech credentials, but you may also be prompted to enter your Montana Tech email address and password.
You will then see tabs for different available software. Your page may look different than the screenshot below depending on your major and available software.
Clicking on a software will take you to a page where you may purchase that piece of software.

AutoCAD
Access AutoDesk's Student and Education Software page. Click "Sign In" in the top right. Then, click "Create Account".
(Step 1) Create an account using your Montana Technological University email address.
(Step 2) Once you have created your account, make sure you are signed in, and go to Products -> AutoCAD.
(Step 3) From AutoCAD's page, select the" Download Free Trial "option.
(Step 4) In the popup that appears, select "Eduaction", then click "Educational Community" at the bottom of the window.
(Step 5) You will now be taken through the process of verifying yourself as a student. Fill out all fields you are presented with, and you will then be taken to a page of products available for free with your education account. 
(Step 6) Find AutoCAD in the list of products and select "Get product", then "Install". Follow the installation instructions.

Civil3D
If you have not made your account, verified it or are unsure of where to find the Civil 3D installation, refer to the instructions for installing AutoCad above.
Select "Use a network license" after the software is installed.

Minitab
To run Minitab please follow these instructions:
(Step 1) Go to minitab.com
(Step 2) Click "My Account" in the upper right hand corner
(Step 3) On the sign-in page, enter your Montana Tech email address and click next.
(Step 4) You will be asked for your Montana Tech login information if you are not already signed in.
(Step 5) Enjoy Minitab
