What Is It?
A guide on forgetting any Wi-Fi network on various devices. It is a good idea to do this for all Montana Tech wi-fi networks after you change your password to prevent your account from being locked out.

Windows
To forget a wireless network in Windows:
	- At the bottom right in the system tray click the network icon. Refer to Figure 1-1
 
- Choose Network & Internet settings. Refer to Figure 1-2
 
- Click Wi-Fi settings. Refer to Figure 1-3
 
- Under "Manage known networks"(Refer to Figure 1-3), select the Wi-Fi network to be removed. Refer to Figure 1-4 
 
- Click Forget. Refer to Figure 1-4

macOS
To forget a wireless network in macOS:
	- At the top of your screen, click the Wi-Fi symbol and then select Open Network Preferences.
 
- In the lower right, choose Advanced.
 
- Under "Preferred Networks", select the Wi-Fi network to be removed.
 
- Click - (the minus sign) to forget the network.
 
- Click OK.
 
Android
To forget a wireless network on your Android mobile device:
	- From the home screen, choose Settings. Refer to Figure 3-1
 
- In the settings menu, choose Wi-Fi. Refer to Figure 3-2
 
- Depending on version of Android, either press and hold the Wi-Fi network to be removed or click the gear icon. Refer to Figure 3-3
 
- Tap 'Forget' at the bottom. Refer to Figure 3-4

iOS
To forget a wireless network on your iPhone or iPad:
	- 
	From the home screen, choose Settings. Refer to Figure 4-1 
- 
	In the settings menu, choose Wi-Fi. Refer to Figure 4-2 
- Locate the Wi-Fi network to be removed and click the blue symbol next to the name. Refer to Figure 4-3
 
- Tap 'Forget this Network'. Refer to Figure 4-4

Chromebook (ChromeOS)
To forget a wireless network on your Chromebook:
	- From any page on the device, click on the clock in the bottom right.
 
- Select Settings  . .
 
- Select the "Network" section
 
- Select Wi-Fi.
 
- Select Known networks.
 
- Find the network you want to forget
 
- Then select More > Forget. > Forget.
